Warcraft Millionaire – The Perfect Gold Guide?

There’s been a lot of talk lately about a new comer to what many of us might call an overcrowded gold guide market – that of Warcraft Millionaire.
I’ve read a lot about Brad, the author’s, claims and was quite skeptical at first that anyone could have made 1 million gold in a game that has a gold cap of 214,748 gold, 36 silver, 48 copper. It just didn’t seem possible and so I, like many, wrote it off at first as creative boasting by another guide writer. Don’t make the same mistake I did though!
This guide is the real deal. Not only does Brad provide video proof of his claims on his website (watch the video here), he provides one of the most comprehensive gold guides I’ve seen yet. Not only do you get a half dozen different guides; a 1-60 guide, an Outland guide, a grinding guide, a Daily Quest guide, an Auction House guide, and a Limited Items compendium; he writes it in a way that is easy to understand reference – an issue I’ve heard time and again with other gold guides on the market.
Once you crack into the beginner’s guide and start reading the tips and tricks that Brad has to offer, you start to see just why he was able to become the game’s first millionaire. It’s not just a laundry list of grinding locations (though he does provide these), it’s a complete step by step process that walks you through how to utilize the grinding locations and gold making methods to the best possible consequences.
Many times, a gold guide just tosses ideas at you and expects you to figure them out for yourself. They give you a zone and a mob and say “kill this”. Brad, starts with the big picture and slowly narrows in on what you need to know about gold making in the game.
One of my favorite parts of this program though is his Auction House guide. This is by far one of the best Auction House descriptions I have yet read. He deftly weaves descriptions of real world economic concepts into how the game operates and how you can actually play the Auction House like the stock market for exponentially increasing returns. The rest of the guide program provides you with plenty of information about what items you should be looking for and how much money you can expect to make.
With the right approach to the Auction House, you can be sure that you will start making gold just like Brad. While I would have liked to see a bit more intense focus on Outland and a few more grinding locations that don’t require a flying mount, I cannot fault Brad for this one minor issue – the rest of the guide is so well situated (and illustrated) that I can fully believe that he was able to reach his gold level without spending a dime of his own real world money.

This guide has step-by-step instructions on how to level up to 70 quickly, not only telling you which quests you need to complete, but what order to do them in and which quests to skip completely. For each of the Alliance classes, Team iDemise was able to determine, by trial and error, which routes and quests were too difficult to even bother trying to complete for each character class, thus saving you a ton of time on your own questing.

One of the major similarities with other Alliance Levelling Guides is that the Team iDemise Alliance Guide focuses on questing rather than grinding. If you’ve played Warcraft for any length of time its probably become clear to you that grinding is boring. Questing gains you a lot more experience and it is also more fun. This guide has a customized map mod. It will help increase your levelling speed because you are able to use it to follow the guide completely in-game. You don’t need to alt-tab back and forth between game and guide and you don’t need to hop off to Thottbott to follow the instructions for each quest. All of the information you need is contained on your map with step-by-step instructions for what you need to do next.

This is a great WoW guide... although it is mostly about grinding for gold. Grinding can make excellent money, but it is hard work and can quickly become very boring. This guide has all of the correct strategies for making gold, but it is not about becoming an "over-night millionaire". The guide is extremely well organized and has sections for beginners, grinding, professions, and AH, as well as two bonus guides for fishing and profession levelling.

The bonus fishing guide is one of the better sections. There are maps and diagrams drawn out with instructions that show you where to fish.

Warcraft Riches has a great amount of good information and, with a little bit of work, you could put it to work for you. Warcraft Riches will definitely get you on the right path to making gold.

In my opinion, Brian Kopp has written the best guide for alliance characters for levelling from 1 to 70. I was very impressed with his Burning Crusade additions and highly recommend Brian’s Alliance levelling guide.

What they're actually doing is giving you an ineffective grinding guide. At one time, it was thought that grinding was the fastest way to hit level 70... mostly because that is what all the bots and levelling services do. Over the years, grinding has been proven to be not only slow but bad overall. Not only do you get bored very quickly from grinding, but it takes the fun out of the game.

This WoW guide has it all. The beginner section is a "must have" if you're just starting out in Wow. "Mastery" tells you basically everything you need to know about WoW. Although there are no tricks in this guide, there is some very useful information.

Learn about the different specs classes, where things are, what things do. As a beginner, this information is invaluable.

Included with "World of Warcraft Mastery" is a 24-page gold making book with some good points in it as well as some new ideas. There is nothing to in-depth but the ideas are efficient.

There is also a levelling guide. This is not a step-by-step guide, like some but is more on the line of grinding-type levelling, which works well for those who dislike questing.

The part I found most interesting was the macro guide. I have been "the worst" at macros and this guide showed me how to make them. It is a step-by-step guide, which I have not found anywhere else. You do get 2 videos with "World of Warcraft Mastery": one is a beginner guide... for those who hate to read, just sit back and watch instead... and the other shows you how to get around Thottbot. Thottbot is an important resource for the Wow player. It helps with quests, items, mobs, NPCs... everything!... so this is a good little video to watch.

There is one more thing that comes with the deluxe pack and that's the mini guides. These have tips and strategies for each class and are full of pretty good info.

I think this pack is for the WoWer who needs a bit of everything. It's mostly geared toward the grinders in WoW, but with all the bonuses you get with it, it is a good buy with plenty of good information.

With "Warcraft Wealth" you receive a few things to make it different from other guides. There is the main money making book, the Auction House video, plus the mining map and the WoW basics.

So is it worth the money you ask?? Just for the knowledge on the AH alone I would say yes. The author takes you step-by-step through how to make money using the Auction House. It tells you how to set up the programs, what to look for... and it actually works!

The mining map bonus you get is very useful for any miner who needs cash fast. It has all the important veins in every area on a map for easy use... even the out-lands!

The beginner guide is worth its weight in gold. If you have logged into WoW and had no idea what you're doing, this book will tell you without people thinking you're a NOOB. You will no longer drive everyone else nuts with your questions.. "what's this?"... "where's that?"... and on and on. Now you will have a good guide to help you.

The main section of "Warcraft Wealth" is, of course, the guide to wealth. Wayne William put it best when he said "If you played the game before or if you’re playing it right know you know for sure that you can't get stronger, powerful and become a successful player without the in-game gold that you need so much for almost everything." Which is so true... if you don't have the gold, there is no way to get ahead. You have repair bills, food, drinks... not to mention all materials for enchants or potions. In this Guide the author tells you what add-ons are useful for money making as well as the good places to grind. He also tells you how he got his 'Netherdrake' in one day.

All in all this is a good guide. It's made for toons who mine and like to grind, and it has some interesting points. It shows you the many ways to make gold. I do believe that it will work for you. If you play WOW you will know that there is no such thing in World of Warcraft that will allow you to earn a huge quantity of gold "in a glimpse" with no effort at all. Making gold is work and you must use your head to get ahead.

This gold guide is, for the most part, Auction House tips. It teaches how to dominate the market, where to get loot, how to use the AH, and even vendor buying for market resell. It also has many user-submitted strategies for gold-making, These tips are for "all over the map" and can be very useful.

There is a small, but effective power level guide that lets you know what area to be in at what level and what instances are there for you.

This is a good guide if your intent is strictly to make money, but you may want to check out other guides if you are focussing on levelling.
